Welcome to the Ottawa Community Legal Clinics Home Page.
There are four Community Legal Clinics and the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic serving the low income residents living in the amalgamated City of Ottawa. Depending on where you live and what your problem is, you may be referred to a legal clinic serving your area. We are funded by Legal Aid Ontario and are responsible to a local community board of directors or steering committee.
We can give you advice if your income is within our guidelines. You may be screened for your financial eligibility even for telephone advice.
The University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic does offer services in criminal law. The other community legal clinics do not. Go to the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic's website www.uottawa.ca/associations/clinic or telephone 562-5600.
If you have a family law problem or a serious criminal law problem, you can contact Legal Aid (Ottawa Office) at 238-7931 or you can go to the Legal Aid Ontario website www.legalaid.on.ca for more information.
You can contact the Clinics at the addresses below or you can click on a button to the left to take you where you want to go!
